We don’t have to make teens the reason for the rise but it’s their food that has made them face this. The modern life has fast food as the basic intake and as kids eat chips and frozen foods they eventually are exposed to more risks. Altering the way of living by having a healthy and clear diet with a routine of physical activities will help in eliminating this problem.
The sad portion is that everybody gets confused with the information and the advice they get from the internet. Internet has lot of people advising this way and they would not give the right piece of data. They would be interested to make money.
It is not a matter of substituting margarine with butter, or consuming meals prepared in olive oil or coconut oil. Your body requires a balanced diet that includes the right proportions of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. The idea is to avoid bad fats and trans-fats at all costs. Saturated fats too lead to high cholesterol, but natural, unprocessed fats do not cause harm if consumed in moderate quantities.
Those days teens used to go out for playing which burned the unwanted fats whatever they took. But now internet and gaming has made teens sit for a long time which does not allow any physical movements. So the teens grow obese and unhealthy. Once the diet is altered healthily it’s time to exercise.
Lowering cholesterol requires switching over to healthy foods and indulging in bursts of activity, even if it is for just 15 minutes at a time.
